It's that time of year again, the snow has almost melted, the grass is starting to turn green and we all eagerly await the return of Saskatoon's iconic pelicans to the banks of the South Saskatchewan River. These birds, once an endangered species, are now an iconic element of summer life in Saskatoon and a conservation success story since the late 1970's.
This year, like every year, we at Parkville host a small competition for who will guess the right date for when the first pelican touches down between CPR Bridge and the Weir! Make sure you've got your guesses in and a very happy Spring to all!!
